Mehl Lawson Sculpture Installed at Wagonhound Ranch

CAA member Mehl Lawson's sculpture, Watching ‘em Water, was installed in late March at the Wagonhound Ranch, home of the 2008 CAA Trail Ride. At fourteen feet tall, this life-and-a-half-sized sculpture features a horse and rider and stands in front of a large indoor horse arena at the Wagonhound Ranch.

Art Nicholas of Wagonhound Land and Livestock in Douglas , Wyo., has been a great supporter of western art over the years. He sits on the board of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. He and his wife Catherine hosted the 2008 CAA Trail Ride at the Wagonhound Ranch, and they own artwork by numerous CAA members.
