Tim Cox Honored by N.M. Cattle Growers' Association

In Dec. 2008, CAA member Tim Cox was presented with the Ayudando Siempre Alli Award by the New Mexico Cattle Growers' Association (NMCGA). Each year, the NMCGA gives this award, which means “always there helping,” to someone who is not directly involved in production agriculture, but has given time and hard work on the industry's behalf.

Cox was honored because of how he portrays cowboys in his art and how he supports the local ranching community. “Tim Cox's special images keep the magic of the cowboy alive for literally tens of thousands of city folks across the nation and around the world,” says Alisa Ogden, NMCGA president.

Past recipients have included bankers, lawyers, government officials, musicians and a recovering environmentalist. The award was sponsored by Farmway Feed Mills of Las Vegas.
